Precious (Limited Edition of 5)
This artwork is a photograph of a cracked Brazilian amethyst geode. The artist intentionally captured the image to create a new meaning for the crystal rock. Funky Rooster (Limited Edition of 5)
The dawn signifies a fresh start, a moment of rejuvenation for the spirit, where one can feel the most profound sense of freedom, lightness, and joy. The artist captured a photograph of a black rooster, which was later used to convey the ancient symbolism of Celtic mythology, where the bird was associated with Hermes, the God of Abundance. However, the artist deviates from the traditional portrayal of the rooster by transforming it into a White Rooster, a symbol of fertility that was seen in Gaul accompanying the Goddess Mother. The use of pink color is a reference from a campaign to raise awarness avbout breast cancer. The color is meant to tone down the rooster's inherent aggressiveness and imparts a more youthful and intuitive energy, while the blue hue is also reminiscent of the Brazilian campaign to raise awareness about prostate cancer.
The color scheme was meticulously selected to promote good health and a sense of fun. In sum, the artwork represents the Rooster's symbolism of love, life, fertility, and even resurrection.
Lockdown (Limited Edition of 5)
In April 2020, during a self-imposed lockdown and prolonged isolation, “Lockdown” was created to express the challenges faced during the initial months of the coronavirus pandemic. The photograph was initially taken to freeze a moment, but it transformed into a colorful and uplifting representation that symbolizes the human spirit's resilience in highly unstable and historic times.
